LE CARNAVAL BAROQUE mis en scène par Cécile Roussat
The lavish and jubilant celebrations that took place in Italy in the mid-seventeenth century, with their elements of enchantment and of the grotesque, are the inspiration of this Baroque Carnival. Acrobats, jugglers, mime artists, singers, and musicians of today express the creative energy of the rites and symbols that were so important in Carnival celebrations.
